“I never have to work again unless I want to buy something.”
Jackie Mason
The late (and I think), great comedian Jackie Mason provided his own unique take on the practical side of life.
True to his quote, he carried on performing his stand-up show to sell out audiences well into his eighties.
The cost of buying “something” these days can be expensive.
Take trade show exhibiting.
A report published by Explori earlier this year highlighted that “85% of exhibitors are choosing where to exhibit based on cost.”
Perhaps a better way to decide would be based on results.
Put your money into events that work and produce the best returns.
But you can only do that with confidence if you know which events are the most successful.
A big part of “success” lies in how well exhibitors convert leads into sales.
Accurate tracking of what happens to event leads is also essential.
Otherwise, how can you know which events have produced the best results?
And events by themselves can’t make sales happen for you.
Exhibitors have to do the sales work.
It’s a subject covered in great detail in “High Value Skills”, an email course for experienced exhibitors who want to take their event results to a higher level.
You can see what it’s all about via this link.
Very best,
