We can’t know who’s asking, but I’m guessing it’s people that rely heavily on digital marketing.
They must wonder if all the effort and expense of organising a trade show stand is worth it, especially when digital is easier.
Yet, trade shows are a paying proposition for thousands of businesses annually.
Busy halls and stands testify to that.
Trade shows can also work beautifully with digital marketing channels.
Plus, they offer a level of personalised marketing digital can’t.
So why the question about trade show worth?
Sticking with what you know and what works is easier and less risky than rocking the boat by trying something new.
Perversely, it’s a massive advantage for exhibiting businesses when their rivals stay away from events.
Long may that continue you might be thinking.
