Are you a hoarder?

Are you a hoarder?

My Dad was.

He hoarded tools and bits of machines.

Over his lifetime, he collected thousands of objects.

Most were in a very large garage at the end of our garden.

In my teens, I found a van buried under a huge mound of carpet.

Dad had long forgotten it was there.

Such were the mysteries and finds within his garage.

I still have and use tools, screws and nails that he gave me before he died.

The things he gave me made no dent in the stuff that was left behind.

Months after his death and at my mother’s pleading, my brothers and I cleared the garage.

It took weeks.

We did our best to find homes for things that could be useful to someone.

It was hard to just throw everything away.

Finally, and because of the scale of the task, we had to call in a clearance company to finish the job.

Dad believed that, at some point, what he had would come in handy.

And he was always giving away tools and parts to friends who needed them.

But like the forgotten van, there were valuable assets stored that never got used.

Many businesses have similar unused or undervalued assets buried within them.

The database is usually one.

If poorly maintained, there will be holes in data fields and a lack of uniformity.

That means email or direct mail marketing will not be as effective as it could or should be.

Also, the ability to contact segments of a list with highly personalised messages will be hindered.

Our HelpDesk service can help improve the above data scenarios massively.

If you need list building, cleaning or both, we can help.

To receive a quotation, reply to this email and let me know which service you require, what you want to achieve and the size of the list.

Very best,
