Do you wish your boss loved you as much as this?
“I want to hold them captive all day long. I don’t want them leaving the building.”
So says Chris Ellison, Chief Executive and Billionaire boss of Australia’s Mineral Resources.
Okay, so it’s not love, more pragmatism on his part.
Mr E wants his staff to stay in the the building, all their work hours.
Analysis highlights that staff wandering out at lunch or any other time costs his company money.
Which is why,
“I don’t want them walking down the road for a cup of coffee.”
In fairness his business does offer a gym and restaurant (with a top chef) on-site.
Let’s hope the coffee is good.
