Viewers see their exasperation as they press number after number in a desperate bid to talk to a human.
Instead of talking to a helpful person, contestants pass from one automated voicemail to another.
And, while this is happening, they’re driven mad by one repetitive soundtrack.
Then, just as they connect with a voice…this is the good bit,
They get cut off.
Cue swearing, tears of frustration, and phones flying across the room.
