What to choose if you’re working with a tight budget

If your trade show budget hasn’t grown to match inflationary price increases, you’re not alone.

Many companies are now looking for cost-effective ways to complete the events on their schedule.

You might find the following extract from a new book I’ve almost finished helpful.

If all goes to plan, it will be out in late September.

More on that will follow soon, but back to the extract.

The book contains an in-depth interview with Annette Tarlton, an out and out expert on using trade shows to build sales.

The short extract below offers her advice for the cash-strapped.

“Whenever I have worked with a tight budget, I have always invested in the strongest possible graphics.

Visitors do notice them, and they do read them.

A strong “nutshell” line of text at eye level that encapsulates what you offer and is easy to read will work.

If you have access to a graphic designer, that’s great, but if you don’t, any stand graphics specialist can help you create something impactful.

I would put graphics ahead of investing in small digital screens because they will make more impact, and you will get more bang for your buck.”

Very best,
