Here’s what we want, what we really, really want

An image of people in a training session, possibly a seminar or conference. When it comes to training, what we really want are the outcomes we will have, not the training itself. That's what this post is all about.

We want the skills and benefits that come from training and practice.

It’s not the training or the practice.

We want the outcome.

To be an excellent piano player, public speaker, French speaker, CRM expert, marketeer, dancer, singer, or pastry cook, you fill in the choice.

We also want to have what might come from acquiring a skill.

Career promotion, acclaim, popularity or, for some, a feeling of quiet accomplishment.

Depending on our choice, we can find learning a skill, i.e. taking the training hard.

Muhammad Ali, one of the greatest heavyweight boxers, had this thought about the training he went through;

“I hated every minute of training, but I said, ‘Don’t quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.”

The trade show training we offer does not require long runs, gym work or sparring.

As far as I know, it’s not painful, either.

But it does require effort and application.

It’s not cheap, so you shouldn’t purchase if you know there’s a good chance you won’t complete the course.

If you do buy, know that you will get superb support and help in finding event supply solutions if you want them.

Best of all, you’ll have the ability to create sales for your company whenever they exhibit.

That’s great for career development and your CV.

And that’s what we want, what we really, really want.

You can access course details via this page on our website.

Very best,

David O’Beirne
