Learning on the go

25/09/24Posted in Career, Management, Training

Do you commute to work by train?

Do you travel by train or plane on business?

If so, you can learn things to improve your career, mind or company.

Commuting daily on the infamous Northern Underground Line in London was the only way I would have ever read War And Peace.

I’m very glad that I did.

That book and many others made long and crowded commutes much more bearable.

Digital technology has made learning on the go even easier.

You don’t need to carry weighty tomes around anymore.

Your phone or tablet does that for you.

Even a short commute can be profitable.

Ten minutes each way can be twenty minutes of learning every commuting day.

That’s a solid hour every week if you work three days in an office.

Over a year, that equates to six days of training and development.

And that’s on top of any in-house training you attend.

If you want to get ahead, improve your career prospects or enjoy excellent writing, your commute can help.

As can we.

Our books and training can help you improve your career or business.

Very best,
