Have you asked your sales team their views on how this year’s trade shows performed?
I’m talking about the people who worked at the shows.
People who met with and pitched to visitors.
They may provide some valuable insights for you to consider.
What they say could help you rank the performance of the events in the schedule for 2025.
Some will have performed better in 2024 than others.
Where that’s the case, will you invest more in those events next year?
Likewise, will you decrease spend or drop poor performers?
And, are there new events you should be considering or testing?
Your sales team will often be the people who learn about these new events from their discussions with current and prospective clients.
They discover the places buyers frequent.
Their input can help you evaluate if the events planned are still valid.
If you have this kind of process in place, that’s great.
If not, now would be a good time to start.
Very best,
